Tsilkani Children’s Home Opens December 27!

Tsilkani Children's Home near Tbilisi, Georgia
After months of planning and preparation, The Divine Child Foundation is making the final arrangements to welcome the first six children into the Tsilkani Children’s Home on December 27. By the middle of January, we will be caring for twenty children in two homes.
Each child has a different story and unique challenges, but all share an experience of abandonment and insecurity. We are committed to creating a warm, hospitable and stable environment that will be both a home for them to grow in, and a launching pad for their adulthood. Our ten-year management contract will give us enough time to make a difference, and our caring and dedicated Director, Lali Tsertsvadze, will take the lead in shaping the character of the homes, with much support from Irma Barbakadze, our Georgian foundation representative.
But we can’t do it without you.
Your financial support is what makes it possible to go beyond mere subsistence and give the children a real chance to succeed in life. Without your contributions, we cannot quite keep the houses warm enough, let alone provide books, sports equipment, computers, enrichment activities and vocational training.
You can help with a one-time or recurring donation. Spread the word to friends and family. Share us on social media sites. Sign up for our newsletter to keep in touch.
With your help, we can welcome “our” children into real homes.
